MAS Tours July/August 2008

This July and August, MAS is offering Wednesday evening tours. Why not change your weekday routine with a midweek break? (And don’t overlook the 17th annual MAS boat tour on the last Wednesday in July.) On the Wednesday after Labor Day, we’ll mark the end of the summer season with a lecture (free to members). Enjoy your summer!

Weekday and Weekend Tours: $15, $12 for MAS members.
Reservations are not required, unless otherwise noted. Fees are generally payable at the beginning of each tour. Reserved tours can be paid online at www.mas.org/tours until 4:00 p.m. the Friday before a weekend tour or until 4:00 p.m. the weekday before a weekday tour or by calling 212-935-2075.

MAS tour leaders are architects, architectural historians, designers, geographers, urban and art historians, teachers and writers who are singularly qualified to interpret the cityscape. Tours proceed rain or shine and usually last approximately two hours. Be advised that subway construction is under way on weekends. Grand Central Terminal Tour

Every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.
Join us for an hour-and-a-half tour of the magnificent Beaux-Arts landmark that MAS helped to save. Meet at the information booth, main concourse. Suggested donation: $10 per person.
Note: groups of more than 10 people should make private arrangements.
